        Solid choice

I haven't seen every other electronic metronome on the market, but this was recommended by our kids' piano teacher. It seems to work fine, and the kid who uses it most is *not* our techie (so it must not be too hard to operate.) I personally hate metronomes and never use them when I play, so I can only go off the experiences of the elementary set.

Caution- do be careful about leaving it on. Especially if your musician is, er.... spotty in her practice schedule, it could lose its battery life shortly. If only on when in use, it seems to last forever.
